Competitive Excellence
At Imagery in Motion Dance, our Competitive Program is built on exceptional training, artistic excellence, and a commitment to helping every dancer reach their highest potential. While awards are an exciting part of the journey, our greatest success is developing confident, well-rounded dancers who continue to thrive both on and off the stage.
More Than Trophies
Our mission extends far beyond competition results. We strive to cultivate dancers who are disciplined, resilient, creative, and compassionate—young artists who lead with confidence, perform with authenticity, and carry the lessons they learn at IMD into every aspect of life.
Dancer Achievements
- Our talented dancers consistently reach new heights, securing top honors and championships on elite national stages. Many of our dancers serve as esteemed convention assistants and have been awarded prestigious convention scholarships to further their training. In their own schools, they excel as dance team captains and officers. We proudly celebrate their placements into world-class programs including the Joffrey Ballet School (NYC) Trainee Program, CLI Conservatory, Pace University Commercial Dance, SFA Dance Team, Broadway Dance Center Trainee Program, Complexions Summer Program, and the Champam University Summer Program.
Alumni Success
- The spirit of Imagery in Motion soars through the nation’s most acclaimed collegiate stages and professional dance companies. Our alumni continue their artistic pursuit at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance, and the Pace University Commercial Dance program in Manhattan. Beyond the classroom, IMD dancers shine as icons of the University of Texas Dance Team, the SFA School of Theatre and Dance, and the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. On the professional stage, our graduates inspire audiences with the Mark Morris Dance Company and other premier ensembles across the country, carrying our legacy into the future.
